This is a private guest suite located above a garage with its own separate entrance. The space includes a queen bed, queen sofa bed (3 or more registered guests), full kitchen, dining area, bathroom, and rooftop deck. The layout is best suited for guests who are comfortable with stairs, as the studio and rooftop deck are both accessed by stairways. The rooftop deck is a great place to relax, dine, or enjoy the coastal breeze, but we ask guests to be mindful of quiet hours and our neighbors.
Other Details to Note
There is no central air conditioning, but the studio gets a coastal breeze and includes a tower fan for guest comfort. Street parking is available with one virtual parking permit, but guests are responsible for reading posted street sweeping and time-limit signs. The home is in a residential beach neighborhood, so we ask guests to keep noise respectful, especially on the rooftop deck and later in the evening. The main house and garage are not part of the rental.

Located in the heart of Old Town Seal Beach, Saylors Aweigh puts you just steps from the beach, and a short walk to Main Street, the Seal Beach Pier, coffee shops, restaurants, and boutiques. The neighborhood has a relaxed, small beach-town feel - walkable, charming, and quieter than many surrounding coastal areas. It’s the kind of place where you can park the car, stroll to breakfast, spend the day at the beach, and walk back out for dinner or sunset. The nearby 2nd & PCH shopping center is just over a mile away, with waterfront dining, shops, and marina views. You’re also a short drive from Naples, Belmont Shore, Huntington Beach, Newport Beach, and other coastal Orange County favorites.
Guest Access
Guests have private access to the studio, the private entry stairwell, and the rooftop deck. Saylors Aweigh is located above the garage and is accessed separately from the main house. The rooftop deck is available for guest use, and includes outdoor dining and lounge seating.
Location
Old Town Seal Beach is very walkable, and most guests can enjoy the beach, pier, Main Street, restaurants, coffee shops, and shops without needing to drive. 2nd & PCH is about a 40-minute walk, and nearby areas like Belmont Shore, Naples, Long Beach attractions, Huntington Beach, and Newport Beach are easy to reach by car or rideshare.
